RESEARCH

Australian Centre for Geomechanics [WWW] http://www.acg.uwa.edu.au
The Australian Centre for Geomechanics has undertaken industry sponsored mine seismicity research since 1999. The ACG website has more details on the current and past ACG research projects. The ACG hosted the Rockburst and Seismicity in Mines conference (RASIM6) in March 2005. Proceedings of RASIM6 are available through the ACG website.

Ground Control at CANMET MMSL [WWW] http://www.nrcan.gc.ca/mms/canmet-mtb/mmsl-lmsm/mines/control/control-e.htm
The CANMET Mining and Mineral Sciences Laboratories in Canada have been actively involved in mine seismicity research for a number of years. This website describes some of their activities and contains downloadable reports.

Safety in Mines Research Advisory Committee [WWW] http://www.simrac.co.za
SIMRAC is a government organisation in South Africa which sponsors research in rock engineering. Many of their projects are related to seismicity in mines. The final reports of these projects are available on the SIMRAC website.
